Pope Francis declared that the Church would celebrate universally a Year of Consecrated Life, which began on the First Sunday of Advent, November 30, 2014 and will close on February 2, 2016. The Sisters of St. Joseph the Worker joined other religious communities around the country in hosting an open house on Feb. 11, 2014. The sisters gave tours of the Motherhouse and talked about the foundation of the community. It was a wonderful time to get to know our neighbors and to thank our friends for their continued support.
