Fall 2012 Newsletter

Dear Friends and Family,

Praised be Jesus Christ! This summer has been an eventful one for the Sisters. It hardly seems possible that school is back in session again - how time flies!

On July 4th, Archbishop Chaput of the Archdiocese of Phildelphia gave the homily for the closing Mass for the Fortnight for Freedom. He said, "We need to render unto Caesar those things that bear his image. But we need to render ourselves unto God -- generously, zealously, holding nothing back. To the extent we let God transform us into his own image, we will – by the example of our lives – fulfill our duty as citizens of the United States, but much more importantly, as disciples of Jesus Christ." As the presidential election draws near, we ask you to pray that religious freedom will be protected in our country; with God all things are possible. We also ask you to make your voices heard: contact your Representatives and Senators and express to them your concerns about this issue. You can visit the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops' page for many resources on promoting religious liberty in your parish or diocese.

Below you will find links to the articles and features of the latest newsletter. We hope that all are well, and continue to keep each and every one of you in our prayers. May God continue to bless you, now and always.
